How our housing is funded
Ectropy Residences is building operations that connect residents to a coordinated set of federal, state, and local housing programs — including SSVF, HUD-VASH, LIHTC, and TDHCA — depending on eligibility and program availability. Our coordinator works with applicants individually to identify the right programs for their situation.
| Program | What it is |
|---|---|
| SSVF | Supportive Services for Veteran Families (VA) — helps very low-income veteran families keep or quickly regain housing. |
| HUD-VASH | HUD-VA Supportive Housing — pairs a housing voucher with VA case management for veterans. |
| LIHTC | Low-Income Housing Tax Credit — the federal program behind most newly built affordable housing. |
| TDHCA | Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs — state housing programs and funding. |
